Maritsa River Apartment

Beautiful, sunny flat with lovely view and delightful interior décor.

Pros: The location next to the river was wonderful, and it was very easy to get to the city centre by bus or walking. The flat was large and had everything we needed, and more. The host is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The decorations in the flat were especially charming.

Cons: The bathroom was a little small, but still clean and suitable for our purposes.

Pros: Completely unique decor and furniture. Well equipped with kitchenette, including wall mounted coffee grinder. Great value for money

Perfect city apartment

Pros: Great property with easy walking distance to the city! Lovely helpful owner, very spacious apartment! Perfect for our stay to visit Plovdiv!

Well placed, clean and fully functional apartment; great base to spend a few days exploring Plovdiv

Pros: Super friendly host who contacted us promptly to arrange checking in to the property and explained all the facilities. Excellent value for money in terms of the space, functional kitchen with adequate equipment. Clean bathroom that functioned well as a wet room. Good air conditioning, TV, radio, WiFi all available for use.

A lovely flat in the heart of Plovdiv.

Pros: Prime location close to the town centre yet very quiet. The flat is in an old building and is furnished very quirky with vintage desks, lights, a piano and lots of film memorabilia. The landlord came to meet us and helped us to find a free parking spot. A very kind and helpful man.

Cons: My only recommendation would be to have thicker curtains as there is a street light just outside the window which was shining straight on my pillow. Also very bright in the mornings.

Pros: Prosperous and stylish. Lots of old good furniture in use and lamps. Everything you might need was there to use.

Great value

Pros: Excellent location and friendly host! Wonderful for short stays, and great value. We greatly appreciated the a/c, and the room is full of quirky antiques. We actually really liked the building - rustic and authentic with old world charm.

Cons: As other reviews have said, the shower is just a handheld showerhead in the wc, which is totally fine for short stays. The towels had a strong musty smell so may need replacing or different storage space.

Cool apartment in a great location!

Pros: The original interior of the apartment... A wonderful view from the window of the Maritsa River... Close to all the sights, including the Old Town. Emil is a charming and friendly host, he will tell you everything and help you. I highly recommend it!

Pros: Such an interesting, deliberately antiquated apartment... Like living in olden times. A little museum ! Owner was very helpful and friendly. He found us free street parking (it is very confusing - don't get it wrong) 2 mins to supermarket, restaurants bars. 5 mins to town. 10 mins to old town... Perfect. Quiet location with view of river.from a reading/dining table

Cons: It needs a clean. Shower is just the head in a very small space
