Bulgaria 🇧🇬

Great option for airport layovers

Pros: Location is IDEAL for travelling via Sofia airport. It's 50m from a metro station that takes you to the airport in 5 minutes. The owners were very welcome and responsive, gave all the necessary information on time. There were a couple of coffee pods which is very appreciated always. There's easy and free parking right outside. Lidl is also right in front.

Cons: The area is a bit dodgy/scary at night, it's a remodeled airbnb in an old soviet commieblock that looks and feels like an old commie block. Not a huge issue because again it's super close to metro. But arriving at 10pm was a bit scary. I think it's a fantastic option if you're just looking for a place to sleep a few hours before leaving to the airport or you don't want to drive at night, but I probably would not stay here for a regular Sofia trip, especially for more than one night.

Great option for a short stay

Pros: Less than 10 mins on taxi from\\to the airport. The flat is ok, everything you could expect for the price. The WiFi was stable. There are some restaurants and Lidl supermarket nearby for food and drinks. Also a metro and railroad stations are 2 mins away, was very useful for me.

Cons: Felt cigarette smoke in the toilet. AC might be serviced or renewed soon.

Clean and comfortable, super close to train station.

Pros: The apartment looks exactly the same as the photos. Since my flight landed in Sofia past midnight, it was easy to get to this apartment as it was relatively close to the airport. The apartment was super close to the metro station, which made it convenient to get to the city center, which takes you around half an hour. The host provided very detailed messages and videos to explain how to enter the apartment, which was super helpful as well.

Cons: Nothing.

Perfect for the night before an early flight

Pros: Everything is exactly as shown in the pictures and description. I booked it because of an early flight from Sofia Airport and the proximity to it is a great plus. Comunication with the host was pleasant and clear as well as the self check-in, check-out process. Would use again.

Perfect apartment for layover in Sofia

Pros: We loved how convenient the apartment was. Very close to the airport, directly next to the metro station and only 10 minutes metro ride from the airport. It was very clean and had all you need!!

Cons: A double bed would be better than 2 single beds in our opinion 😊 we couldn't find sugar for the coffee 🙈
