Pros: Very beautiful nature. Very quiet. Perfect for those who love relaxing in nature and the countryside. The hostess is a very kind and helpful woman.

Great lovely home away from home.

Pros: Very clean with really good facilities. Laid back atmosphere.

Cons: The location is on the opposite side of town from where the hiking trails start so if you do not want to walk an extra 40 minutes this may not be the best place for you. Hitchhiking is possible though and there may be buses but we could not find them.

Pros: Very friendly, very comfortable bed, very nice room that opened up to let the cool breeze in, kitchen had everything you could want and more, even a washing machine. Was great.

Cons: Make sure you know where you are going to ski/hike.

Pros: Very nice and clean room, pretty big. Kitchen with all you need. The shared bathroom is only for 2 rooms.

Cons: Ask locals about marshrutkas if you don't have a car

Great place in the mountains.

Pros: Great place in the mountains, where we were made very welcome. Close the town, in a convenient but quiet location, with good facilities. Would be very happy to stay there again.

Cosy and comfortable stay, perfect for hikers!

Pros: Large, clean room and parking outside the property. Good shared kitchen facilities and the host was super friendly and helpful - ask him for his local restaurant recommendation, it was the best meal we ate in Bulgaria!

Pros: It depends what you want. I was looking for an affordable, remote location close to the mountains. The host was really nice and helpful even though she spoke only Bulgarian and a bit of English. Be aware the room is small and it has a separate bathroom

Clean and cosy

Pros: Great family owned house in the middle of a small village, really quaint and quiet. The room was large, very clean and very warm. There is a very well-equipped shared kitchen on the first floor. Great hosts. I recommend it to anyone who comes to the area for skiing or hiking in the summer.

Cons: The bathroom is shared (one bath for two rooms) but we had the whole house to ourselves:)
