Pros: Convenient spacious and clean rooms. Highly recommended

Pros: Welcoming hosts. Google maps had a problem with the address so we arrived late and stressed (tip - look for St Nickolas church and you’re nearly there) and immediately made feel at ease. Nice traditional house, very clean.

Pros: Awesome! Such a great host! He has an amazing attitude to details, strict, correct, direct and no less a Man attitude you'd like to see it's still exists!!! Thank you for the welcoming!

Pros: The host was very friendly and nice! The place is very authentic, has its own spirit, very well maintained and in a perfect condition. Food at the restaurant downstairs is a must! We went for late dinner, and I don't rember I ate anything this tasty in a long time!

Cons: Had to rate 8 because the room was quite cold. We used all the extra blankets in the room, and it was still cold. We were sleeping in the clothes and with hats on. Also bring flip-flops for the shower, as it's an open shower, the floor is pretty cold and once you had your shower, half of the room is covered with water. If you're coming winter time, warm up. I'm sure summer time is a different story.

Pros: The hosts are very nice and friendly. It was very clean and the food was great. There is an option for delicious breakfast. Natural Bulgarian style in the house and rooms. No luxury, but comfortable suits.

Cons: The room was small. Not full set of facilities, but a hairdresser or an iron are available if you ask the hosts.

Pros: Cool authentic Bulgarian guesthouse, very clean, decent price, friendly staff and a really good restaurant. Absolutely worth it

Comfortable, traditional guesthouse with lovely hosts.

Pros: Nice home cooked breakfast, we also enjoyed good traditional food both nights in the restaurant. simple but comfortable room, nice view of the church. Although our hosts did not speak much English they were lovely and both went out of their way to help us with our travel queries which was greatly appreciated.

Cons: If you don’t have a car it is a few km into the main part of Smolyan but buses are regular. Having said that we liked the neighbourhood, had a community feel.

Pros: The host is very welcoming. Restorant is very good rooms are nice

Very very nice stay and very good value. Highly recommend.

Pros: Located in the quieter part of Smolyan, still with everything within reach. Easy to find, private parking and a beautiful stylish house. Very friendly and helpful staff. We didn’t feel like guests, more like family. Food…. delicious.

Cons: If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might be a good idea. House doesn’t seem to have any noise insulation, and loudspeakers for the outside area are located just outside the windows.
