Hotel Avion - Self check in

Clean, spacious, convenient

Pros: The suite was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. I loved the two balconies! The price was very reasonable for the high standard and great location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The self check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality — I’ll definitely be coming back next year!

Rustic style, friendly cat

Pros: A very nice place, super quiet, not on the main road, just behind it, great design - rustic Bulgarian style rooms. Some very interesting details - the doors were all wood, with heavy-duty iron hardware, looks old and traditional. Maybe not super functional, but nice little touches. The furniture as well - wood, dark wood, exposed beams in the room, some old guns as decoration. Wooden floors and seilings, I have the exact same type at home, so it felt like home for me. We had a beautiful patio, with plenty of room to hang out, also a tailless cat, who was super friendly and cuddly, but not too much! He was great! Large bathroom, comfotable beds, easy to reach location even on foot from the train station. Plenty of restaurants around, grocery stores, across the street fro the international fair. Aslo, late check-out! Very large room overall. Would love to come back!

Cons: I can see how using the oldest key type known to humans could be a problem for some, was a bit annoying for me too, but it made me go back to my childhood. These door types are not really soundproof, but everything else is, there are other doors, that provide privacy. There were spiderwebs, but I think it adds to the rustic charm. The cat could be a problem for people who don't like cats or are allergic. The self-check-in is not actually complicated, it's easy, unless you have long fingernails, for the safe. There are neighbours right outside on a balcony, which could be annoying. The door to the patio is not done perfectly, watch your feet!

A rare gem in Plovdiv

Pros: Beautiful location, beautiful room, nicely decorated and has everything I wanted. Definitely, will come back.

Pros: The location of the hotel was very good. In the center of the city. Self check in is very convenient. All instructions were clear and helpful.

Overall very pleasantly surprised with our stay! :)

Pros: Good isolation, quiet and good temperature could be held even without air conditioning (there is one, but we didn’t really need to use it) on 40 degrees outside weather and on the top floor. Cozy, homey, everything was provided. Mattresses on the firmer side but still we slept like babies. Easy check in, didn’t really see staff around.

Cons: The elevator is not the best and is kind of creepy.

Pros: Clean, specious and comfortable. Good distance from old town.
