We had a great stay!

Pros: The owners put a lot of effort into making the place comfortable and the stay for the guests pleasant and enjoyable. We eated ones in the restaurant and everything was very well prepared and delicious. The decoration of the village is very good and interesting. The massages are also high quality!

Great retreat in the mountain with a wonderful restaurant.

Pros: The villa we booked was wonderful - clean, spacious, well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The view from the villa to the Batak dam was gorgeous. The bedrooms are big and the beds - very comfortable. The place is kid- and pet-friendly. The staff were kind and available for all our requests. We were a bit concerned that the restaurant menu is a bit limited, however there were daily menus on the weekend so that proved not to be an issue at all. In fact, we can't sing enough praises for Byulent - the restaurant proprietor and chef. His food is simple and delicious, and his attitude towards the clients is wonderful; he made sure we were well-fed and happy with our orders.

Cons: One of the rooms didn't have a lake view but that's not really an issue. There are no shops/convenience stores within walking distance.

Pros: Great place to relax, amazing hosts, the food in the restaurant was amazing

Cons: You can ask the staff to improve the cleaning service. That was the only piece that was distracting

Pros: The location and the view were stunning. The house is equipped with everything you might need. The interior and decoration, combined with the calm and quet atmosphere of the whole are perfect for relaxation/ home office/friend gatherings. The host was very welcoming, friendly and always willing to help.

Cozy forest houses, created for relax

Pros: The place is feeling like home, cozy, comfortable and very calming. Among the trees, the houses are meant to feel recharged and relaxed. Location is very good, the view is amazing.

Cons: The property was not clean enough, including all kitchen supplies. As the property was pet friendly there was specific smell and pets hair, especially on the couch.

Definition of relaxing

Pros: The villa was beautiful and had all the comforts we wanted to relax for the couple of nights we were there. We didn’t go out for food and just cooked in the kitchen and BBQ there. We loved waking up to that view and relaxing on the deck chairs. The spa/pool area was nice too with plenty of chairs to relax in the shade. It’s quiet and we really enjoyed our stay.

Cons: I might have missed this in the description but you must bring your own drinking water. There’s a little shop down the road to get big containers for cheap which was great - don’t let that deter you!

Pros: We liked absolutely everything - this is probably the best place we have stayed in Bulgaria. Everything was amazing - from the check in experience, to the check out. Staff were great, very responsive and helpful and how about the house itself - beautifully made, had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay, all the details were so well thought out. Amazing, amazing place, highly recommend a stay here!

Pros: Amazing place itself, and a huge plus is you can stay with dogs. Very welcoming hosts, beautiful nature around, the design of the accommodation is lovely and cozy! Great outdoor swimming pool with a spectacular view of a lake. Recommended for family and friends to stay. We spent a great weekend there and would like to visit it again!

Amazing complex in a great location

Pros: Beautiful complex in a good location, designed with a lot of attention to detail and great views of the reservoir. Great hosts who live nearby and work hard to make sure the guests are looked after. Perfect for a short, restful family holiday (depending on the other guests).

Cons: No food facilities on site. I would definitely consider returning, however next time I would avoid coming at the weekend as there are less chances of sharing the space with rude and inconsiderate guests who think the place is just for them and play loud music and socialise till late (in our case 4.30am).

Wonderful Relaxing break, in a beautiful setting.

Pros: Beautifully designed lodge, with all the facilities you could need for a relaxing break! Pool area is stunning and well maintained, Small shop selling local wine and spirits.
