Charming Ground Floor Aprt In Old Sofia

Pros: An economical and convenient place to use as a base for exploring the capital of Bulgaria. We found the apartment clean and warm, everything was ready for our arrival. We only came for a weekend and hardly used public transport. The accommodation was close to all shops and places we wanted to visit.

Cons: The downside (visible in the photos) is that the apartment is located on the ground floor, in a space designed to be a small shop, so if you want privacy, you have to keep the curtains drawn all the time. The only heating element in the room is the air conditioning, which, in our opinion, needs cleaning (my nose was full after the first night of stay). The accommodation is also located on a rather unpleasant street & area after dark, but it doesn't influence our opinion as the it's not apartment's fault ;)

Pros: Posizione vicino alle fermate dei tram e alla metro Serdika. Arredamento moderno.

Cons: La posizione su strada, sul marciapiede. Questo ci ha costretto a stare sempre con le tende chiuse

Good location but needs more privacy from the street.

Pros: I liked the central location, the place was clean and stuffed with all necessities. The host was very helpful and accommodating, there was plenty of utensils, coffee maker, stove, fridge, nice bathroom, plenty of hot water.

Cons: Because it is ground level the place needs good blinds or stained glass windows. If you pull the drapes for light from the windows anyone outside can see you and there’s no privacy.
