Key Hostel Serdika

Pros: The location is perfect. Close to metro station, super market and restaurants. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely visit again

Pros: It is very central and the staff was willing to book me in early as my flight arrived very early in the morning.

Cons: That dishes had to be washed in the same bathroom zink that guests use to brush their teeth and wash their hands. The owner should invest in a proper zink especially for dishes, even if it is a small one.

Pros: The staff, they were super friendly and helpful. Social as well. And the hostel mate Happy hour every night is also a good thing

Cons: The neighbourhood here, finding food over here after 7 is nearly impossible

Great stay!

Pros: We had a great stay! The room was very comfortable, with a cozy bed for a good rest. The hostel had everything needed for a pleasant stay, even if you wanted to cook. On top of that, the location is excellent, which made it very easy to visit the most iconic sites. Thank you very much for everything!

Pros: Overall, the rooms and beds are nice and comfortable. The staff are polite, respectful, and professional. However, there are some downsides: there is no proper kitchen, and the kitchen utensils are mostly in the common area with no water source nearby. If you want to cook, you’ll need to find another place. Most people don’t clean very well. There is no air conditioning, and during a very hot day, I couldn’t sleep well because of the high temperature. The location is excellent, everything else is lovely, and the price is very reasonable.

Nice stay

Pros: Very positive and friendly staff, always ready to help. Special area for couple of drinks or just to relax The beds are equipped with drawers which can be locked if you need to (mind you need a padlock (not sure if the hostel offer that). There is no additional lights to each bed or own plugs -you share that. Mattresses are with protectors and sheets are smelling fresh and washed with a softener. What I recommend make sure you put your dive cover on-as there are different people and some might just cover themselves with the duvet rather than making it. Bathrooms are fully equipped and you can find toilet paper and shower cream. The hostel is generally kept very well and looks nice and clean, I really hope to remain that way as make you feel that you are at home.

Pros: A great new hostel in one parts of Sofia. Aylo and the rest of the staff were super helpful. Basic private rooms and kitchen but more than made up by the best hostel lounge I've seen in many years.
