Todeva House Hotel and Tavern

Pros: The hotel is lovely with a great location only 15 minute walk away from the gondola. The owner Michael made us feel very welcomed. Also the restarant in the hotel serves great food. Would definitely reccomend to anyone wanting to visit Bansko.

Lovely, authentic stay, perfect distance from slopes and town

Pros: Lovely, clean, authentic stay right in the centre of town. Micheal is a lovely host - going out of his way to make our stay more comfortable. Also, although we visited during a particularly cold period (-13 degrees!) in January, the hotel and our room was always heated to the perfect temperature.

Great stay!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Todeva House! The owner, Michael, went above and beyond to help us with our stay. He checked in with us regularly and helped us with arranging transportation to trailheads/chairlifts. The accommodation is located near the city center, close to the square and many restaurants.

Cons: If we had to provide feedback it would be that the curtains are not black-out and there is no AC. We stayed in the room on the top floor which has beautiful rooftop windows but no curtains so we were woken up by the sun early morning. There is a somewhat noisy standing fan but the room gets hot in summer. Both issues can be mitigated by bringing an eye mask and earplugs :-)

Authentic stay in the centre of Bansko

Pros: The host was very welcoming and kind. The rooms where spacious and the shower was more than fine. The stay is only a few minutes walk from some central streets with restaurants and bars. Try the kitchen from the host as they make everything fresh which tasted amazing.

Pros: Comfortable and clean room in a great location right in the Old Town. Amazing mountain views from the windows. In the adjoining tavern, there is a pleasant outside seating area for summer and a very cosy interior with a big fireplace - looks like it would be nice in winter. Michael, the owner, is very helpful and attentive. He made us a lovely Bulgarian breakfast on request.

Pros: The location of the hotel is great. The food and the service they provide is excellent. The staff is friendly and the place is clean.

Pros: Very clean, big, quiet room. Comfy beds. We slept very well. 3min walking city center.

Pros: Mikael, the host, was very friendly and accommodating. It's situated in a lovely quiet area of the old town There is good food and wine to be had in the traditional restaurant, and overall, I'd say it's good value for money So, all in all, a grand spot altogether! Pros: Everything was great, as informed as in the page. We like authentic aura, and interest of the Mikael owner of the hotel. He helped us a lot. We ate in the hotel all the time because their menu and food was delicious.
