Hotel Borovets Edelweiss

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was warm and comfortable and there was plenty of storage for clothes and a fridge. The free shuttle bus to the gondola was a good service at regular intervals. There was a good choice of food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

Cons: The location was a bit too far from the centre for it to be ideal, so the shuttle bus was necessary for carrying equipment.

Pros: Good organization from the staff, literally like you lack nothing.

Cons: The room we stayed in smelled of mold, so while we were out skiing we had the window open the whole time. Also, the toilet drain smells if you leave the bathroom door open.

Pros: Nice authentic hotel..... good value for money. Good shower. Good food. Very nice bar with fair rates and good variety.

Cons: The fitness room is old, almost everything is broken. Very old and few devices .... was modern and whole 50 years ago....

Good value for money

Pros: In overal everything is good. The breakfast and dinner are nice, there are quite some varieties of food to chose from. The staff is excelent and they are there to help you with anything. The rooms are fine, warm and cleaned up every day. There is a lot of free parking space around the hotel. All in all it's a good value for money.

Cons: The rooms are not very soundproofed and you hear quite some noice especially coming from the hall when someone is closing/opening their door. The ski shuttle is a nice option but in my opinion it should transit more often, like on every hour or so, otherwise in this case you are pretty much obligated to stay until 4pm (unless you are willing to pay quite some money for a taxi to the hotel) on the slopes no matter the weather conditions, overal conditions on the piste or simply just how you feel about staying and skiing.

Pros: Friendly staff as always, the food improved a lot since last few years extremely pleased with it

Cheap, good food, good staff

Pros: Half board - food was great, plenty of options and pasta and chips for the kids. Great food Decent Bar prices Rado on reception was amazing, top bloke, always asking if we needed any thing or checking if we were ok 10min max walk into town

Cons: Dated rooms- but knew this from reviews before going. You get what you pay for Ski shuttle times could have been better. Lifts shut at 16:30 but last shuttle was 16:30. Could have done with a 17:00 shuttle back.

Weekend ski

Pros: The place is nice - the staff are pleasant, the food is good, there is a ski shuttle, the sauna was heated properly. The rooms were warm and there was overall everything you need.

Cons: The sauna is kind of weird - it is added later to the hotel and it comes across as randomly placed. There are no bathrobes provided. The gym is dingy. The place is overall showing it's age. It gets the job done but it is far from luxury if that is what you're after.

Pros: Friendly and polite staff, great breakfast, great dinner. Value for money!

Cons: The room's door had a small gap and it was difficult not to hear some noise from the corridor
