Pros: The cleanliness and the willingness everything was as good as it could be

Pros: -beautiful environment, near the monastery -restaurant on site, breakfast is also available for 6 euros per person, 3 options, generous portions -large room

Cons: -weak internet -we got a top room where some kind of animal lives under the roof because it is very noisy at night -weak water pressure -broken TV remote control & furniture handle

Pros: Warm welcome and great food, both breakfast and dinner!

Pros: Hotel is great location to the Monastery. We booked the larger room, size was good, however bathroom very restricted, very difficult to have a shower. Room was clean which is most important. Family restaurant, has good selection plus the food was excellent. You can also pay accommodation & restaurant with a card, don't know why its advised as cash only.

Pros: Location was amazing , 10 min from rila monastery . And the family was really nice!

Cons: Bathroom. It is what you need but toilet and shower are together . But they work ok.

A good place for a stop over and some dinner

Pros: The location is good - very close to the monastery. The food was delicious and the outside dining area was lovely. This is a perfect stop if you are visiting the monastery and want a close stay. The value for money is great and you get what you pay for. The dog and cat on-site were adorable.

Cons: The staff were not the most welcoming and everything was blunt - however this could be a translation issue. The walls were very thin and since a lot of people staying are hiking/ up early we were awake very early. However, with this in mind - for what we needed, the property worked.

Amazing family-run hotel in the heart of Rila Mountains

Pros: The hotel is located in Rila mountains area, close to the Rila Monastery and the cave of St Ivan. Family who run the place are extremely pleasant people, every day started and ended with a smile. I enjoyed every moment spent there, felt right at home, and ate amazingly delicious and home-cooked food. Everything was communicated transparently and on-time, super helpful during my arrival. My room was clean and looked exactly as was shown in the photos, with everything necessary for one's travels. The experience of being there is only positive, I could go on and on. Nothing bad to say whatsoever, I hope I will have the opportunity to come back and stay here again, the area has such a peaceful and serene energy, it was a pleasure and blessing to stay at this hotel.

Pros: Great location near Rila Monastery, beautiful garden, delicious breakfast and lunch

Pros: Very big and cosy room. 5 minutes by car from Rila monastery. They also have a restaurant which is very very good and a very nice garden with a small fountain. Staff very nice and welcoming. Very quiet even though we are near the main road.

Cons: Wifi was not very good in the room of the 2nd floor.

Beautiful!

Pros: The room is very spacious, with an area with a soda and table to rest. Beautiful surroundings- you can hear the river. The food was a little pricey but delicious.

Cons: It would be great if there was a mosquito netting over the windows.
