Hotel Ida

Wonderful!

Pros: We loved Danny’s hospitality, professionalism, knowledge of the area, ability to arrange transport to and from Sofia airport, and booking us a table at a fantastic local traditional table for dinner. The rooms have exactly what you need, they are clean, cosy and warm enough for your ski gear to dry overnight, after a wet snowy day. The pool, sauna and gym are not luxurious, but they are perfect enough to unwind and relax after you ski. The Mexican food is on point, the cocktails are delicious. And the rest of the staff, Galin and Danaya are super friendly and hospitable! We would love to go back to Bansko, and if we do, we will certainly go back to Danny’s Hotel Ida. Thank you for making our holiday extra comfortable and special.

If staying in Bansko I wouldn’t consider anywhere else

Pros: Warm and welcoming, everything that you needed was there at your fingertips. Rooms were spacious plenty of room for kit. Staff were exceptional- we were made to feel so welcome, it was really evident that most guests had visited previously which speaks volumes

Cons: Nothing in the slightest

Nice hotel with very cute and friendly staf!

Pros: We stayed at this hotel and I really liked the way the staff treated us. They were very friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. The hotel was a bit old, but it was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. What truly warmed my heart were the guys at the reception and the waiter — they were very sociable, kind, and always ready to help. Also the room was cleaned every day which was so helpful. They responded quickly to any request we had, and if we missed dinner, they prepared takeaway meals for us without any problem, doing everything fast and with great consideration for our comfort. Overall, the staff made our stay feel special and welcoming. Please if you are here try their quesadilia for dinner - its very tasty and perfect after a day on the sloopes! Thank you, Ida Hotel, we'll definately choose you on our next trip to Bansko.

Cons: Everything was nice!

Pros: Very good value for money. Danny was one of the best hosts. We only stayed for a couple of days but he vas extremely helpful and insightful and he went out of his way to accommodate our needs. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food felt home made and very tasty.

Lovely accommodation for a lovely trip!

Pros: We had an excellent stay! Danny did whatever he could to make our staying comfortable. He met all our requests and he was really helpful! The location is great, very close to the lifts, the ski rentals and the center. The room was very comfortable, clean and cozy. Thank you Danny for everything! :)

Good for ski, spa center can be better

Pros: Location is close to the city center and the ski area. Room is clean and the stuff is really friendly.

Cons: SPA center didn't meet my expectations. Pool is small, water was cold, sauna was on different floor.

Would recommend!!

Pros: Very good location near the main street and very near the gondola. Danny the host was excellent, always willing to help and very friendly! Breakfast was very descent to start the day and hotel was clean. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend!

Cons: Stairs so nit suitable for people with mobility issues.
