Pros: Cozy rooms, suitable for long-term stays. It's very quiet and beautiful around. Everything is perfect, for this price, this is the best deal. The host is wonderful.

Tranquility and nature close to capital

Pros: nice setting in woods but only a few miles out of Sofia with buses stopping just outside should you want them. Restaurant onsite open all day serving traditional Bulgarian fare at reasonable prices. Staff friendly

Cons: No doormat in chalet -suppose Bulgarians usually remove shoes on entry

Peaceful and handy base for Vitosha or Boyana

Pros: The place was exactly as described, easy to find and incredibly peaceful. All the rooms looked out onto trees with the restaurant a nice distance behind. Having the restaurant on site was really an unexpected bonus- I hadn’t really thought or planned food options but they had a good selection of vegetarian dishes so I got to try lots more different things and it was a godsend when it unexpectedly (at least for me) rained. Entertainment was great- gypsy music plus show one night and folk Bulgarian music on the tv another. Staff were nice and humoured my attempts to speak Bulgarian well.
