Romania 🇷🇴

Pros: Lovely option if you like quaint little villages. The restaurant on site is a great option for dinner and breakfast, the property is nice and comfy, and the hosts welcoming. Rooms are spacious and have a nice traditional vibe. The area itself can be explored, including some hiking (day trip) to the better known Melnik village and its spectacular pyramids.

Cons: It needs a bit of extra care, as some items are a bit worn and rooms would need a refresh here and here.

Wonderful quite place.

Pros: This place is amazing. Everything about it is positive. The facilities are modern, clean and well maintained. The young woman who seemed to do most everything was terrific. We had no language in common but we got by fine. The breakfasts were fine and the evening meals tasty and substantial.

Cons: Just be aware this place is largely in the middle of nowhere so no car no go! The local geology is amazing and the town of Melnik down the road is small but perfectly formed.

Cons: It's a pity the staff cannot speak English, but we managed thanks to Google translator.
