Hotel Central Club Sofia

Very nice, I recommend.

Pros: Nice old builiding with a cool eeire atmosphere, almost like a David Lynch film set. Good room, amazing spa. Great location. Nice staff. Especially Kristian, the night receptionist was very nice.

Pros: No breakfast. Location is excellent. Center of the city. room was comfy with a small fridge inside.

Cons: The lift… the reviews did tell us. There is one lift and the doors open and close so frustratingly slowly. The lift itself once you’re in it is also very very slow. We found it easier a lot of the time to take the stairs which is no issue for us but may be for someone who is not able to take stairs. Bath/shower had no screen so floor would get very wet and slippery No plug sockets by bed. Or you had to unplug AC if you wanted to use the closest one to the bed Some furniture falling apart in room TV only has a couple of English channels. Not a big deal and not sure if this can be helped but something to consider

My home away from home.

Pros: It is always a pleasure to return to the Central Club Sofia. This is a hotel from yesteryear with a distinct personality. Windows that actually open! Lovely spa. Lovely staff. And a cool vibe.

Pros: The hotel and the room are very stylish. The location is in the city center. The spa center was amazing. They allowed us to check into the room earlier than the official check-in time, for which we are very thankful.

Well located and nice staff

Pros: I like the staff especially Christian. The best as he is welcoming and accommodating. The room is good too, very spacious

Cons: - i think the bed is broken as felt the bed is not level ( but I don’t want to repack and unpacking for change room, so its ok) - the light is too dim, almost scary ambient

What a hidden gem!

Pros: Hotel Central Club Sofia was one very pleasant surprise. My partner and I chose to stay there for New Year's because of its communicative location, yet we found ourselves wanting to stay a little longer in the hotel, enjoy its SPA and the very comfortable room, which was both clean and tidy! The bed was very comfy. There were clean towels, as well as robes and slippers provided, as well as additional bed covers. (There is a hair dryer in the bathroom!) The building is evidently historical and the vibe of the hotel kind of keeps up with that. The SPA is lovely, too! The heated pool/jacuzzi was really nice, the space was clean, the sauna and steam room were also nice! The best part, however was the staff! The receptionist was sweet, funny, and very very helpful. The man, tending the bar was also great - he was smiley, pleasant, very professional, and also sweet! I don't think we've ever been treated this respectfully by hotel staff before!

Cons: There was a problem with the TV remote in the bedroom, the power button of which didn't work, so we couldn't turn it off without unplugging it. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

Pros: The room was big , clean and quiet .The bed was comfortable . The location was very central . The internet was good .

Cons: I arrived late at night and the doors were locked .I had to wait until somebody realize that I am there . I have sent a message with the time I will arrive when I booked the room .

Pros: Great location, unfortunately I had no time to try spa, that was included in price

Cons: There was only one blanket on the double bed
