Aurora Sofia

Pros: The location is good, very close to the points of interest in the center of Sofia. It is a well-maintained building with clean rooms and a decent breakfast.

Cons: Access to the car park, located in the basement, is only possible with the help of a car lift very limited in size and with very difficult access for a medium-class car (Skoda Kodiaq in my case). Very poor Wi-Fi signal quality!

Meraviglioso

Pros: The hotel is not very central, but it is really nice and very clean. I definitely recommend it.

New modern hotel in a good price and location

Pros: A comfortabe and freshly new hotel close to the city center (walking distance) and the subway. The room was nice, spacious and very clean, the beds were wide and the bathroom had all necessary amenities in great abundance and high quality. Although we stayed for two nights, the cleaned the room and renawed tea and water bottles!!! The boys at the reception were very helpful and warm

Cons: The safe could not get a new code, the room smoked of sigar smoke both days we stayed there, the matress was quite hard and the breakfast, although sufficient, could offer more choises and perhaps some traditional local things.

Modern hotel close to the centre

Pros: Modern, well insulated, quiet location close to the centre. Helpful stuff.

Cons: Room practical but relatively small; no problem since it was known beforehand.

Direct metro line from the airport, comfy place to stay very near to the center.

Pros: M4 metro line direct from the Airport - a huge bonus for a first time travellers who face absence of Uber and Bolt at the location. It's in the center, easy to find, close to metro and a major Sofia mall. Tne TV with streaming is available, also a good and modern climatic system. The hotel is nice, professionally-run, with nice wi-fi and sufficient breakfast.

Cons: There has been re-modelling of adjacent room these days, nothing bad in particular, yet some noise from time to time.. In general it is very quiet, it's only me was a bit out of luck, but for the rest all was excellent.

A well kept hotel.

Pros: The hotel is run with a good team. It is clean and well maintained. Breakfast is basic but ok. Good for a short term stay.

Cons: More choices for breakfast. Outside carpark upgrade.

Great breakfast, modern hotel, wonderful stay!

Pros: The breakfast was amazing and super yummy, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast seemed freshly made and plentiful. They spoke English really well and made the experience wonderful. The rooms were clean and modern, the mirror in the bathroom had a touch screen, and the key was a card that gets put in the wall for the electricity. There was a tea pot and coffee in the room and toiletries provided. The hotel provides parking that is cheaper than street parking. Apparently, it is difficult to pay for parking as a tourist because you have to type the information in the Bulgarian alphabet and language. So we stayed in the hotel underground parking (with a car elevator) and then parked outside on the street on Sunday because it is free on Sunday's. The location is a little walk from the center, but not bad if you don't mind walking, and even though there's a building that looks rough in front of the hotel, the area was safe. Great hotel experience!

Cons: The pillows are a bit flat but that's it!

Pros: What a beautiful little hotel. Staff were welcoming, friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and well equipped. Really comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely and communal area was great. Location was a little way from main area bit thats reflected in the price and easy walkable too (metro convenient also)

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: All staff lovely; good location; exceptionally clean and good breakfast.

Cons: Walls very thin: could hear people next door talking and moving around.
