Second-to-none

Pros: This place is second-to-none. Deep into the forest, clean air, peace and quite, a river, a herd of freely roaming horses, a view at the Alps-like snowy peaks form my room, exotic animals from all around the planet... And then the staff ... - a lovely family business, people who know what you want before you know you want it .... And if you are a rider, they have it all - from Arabians to calm local breads, and riding in the divine environment.

Cons: You have to drive carefully the last 800 meters, because there is not asphalt there. But it's quite OK and a negligible price to pay for the best place I have even been when looking for relax, meditation and stress-free holiday alone, or with your spouse, kids or pets.

Pros: Friendly people and really helpful. Great food and for a one night stay on a motorcycle trip it was great. Just be aware that it is a few kilometres of gravel road to get to the property which I enjoyed but others may not.

Pros: Very nice people and place. Located on outskirt of a village, surrounded by forest. If you like nature and horses - that's the place to be. We loved it.

Delicious food, kind hosts and breathtaking nature.

Pros: The location is stunning and the hosts are more than welcoming. The food was exceptional and you could tell that it was made with love. I wish more people would discover and visit the place.

Cons: The road to the property is not fit for a low car.

This our second visit to Rusaliite lived up to our expectations. Very helpful staff with nothing too much of a problem.

Pros: They upgraded us to their best room for no reason, so we enjoyed the spacious terrace with gorgeous views 😍 The hosts are truly nice people. And of course, the horses! Horse riding was an absolute highlight

Cons: The last 2 km of a horrible dirt-track that felt like driving into a riverbed... but I made it with my non-4x4 vehicle !

A piece of heaven

Pros: The horses! Obviously well loved and free to clip the grass around the estate, they must be the luckiest horses on earth. The family is friendly and accommodating. Even though kitchen is officially open at 8 am, I was able to get coffee earlier. I don't speak Bulgarian but I didn't feel it to be an issue, as the owner Nadia speaks English and was able to coordinate everything I needed. It was also interesting to meet overseas volunteers at the ranch. Altogether, a peaceful stay.

Cons: Nothing! Maybe to consider sale of snacks and essentials to jetlagged travellers or for midnight munchies since the location is quite remote.
