Katarino SPA Hotel

Pros: A wonderful hotel with top-level service. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the food is delicious and high quality. Special thanks for the kids activities, my child is absolutely thrilled! We will definitely be back.

Pros: Clean and spacious rooms, great food, entertainment for children, the clean pool and beautiful spa.

Great place for families with children

Pros: We love coming here — it’s a wonderful place for families with kids, and they even provide a potty, which is super convenient!

Cons: The only thing I’d suggest is adding allergen labels to each dish at dinner, not each has a label. There’s a general list available, and the staff were extremely helpful, but individual labels would make things even easier and less stressful.

This hotel is an ideal place for a family vacation in the mountains.

Pros: We liked absolutely everything: a well-maintained hotel, a clean room, wonderful delicious food for breakfast and dinner, friendly hotel staff, unobtrusive service, a beautiful children's room, large pools with clean water, absolutely everything was incredible and above all expectations. Our child had a birthday and they made a cake for us at our request (we asked in the evening and they already picked it up in the morning)

Great place to stay for families with children

Pros: Great service, good food. Very nice place especially for families with small kids. I love the baby menu. This is really convenient for people with babies. Food in restaurant was pretty good. Staff - super nice.

Cons: There is only 2 elevators for the whole complex which means - long wait every time.

One of the best spa in Bulgaria

Pros: Spa area and staff are excellent, we tried several treatments from the spa menu - top-class quality of service. Buffet is outstanding for both breakfast and dinner.

Wonderful place

Pros: Service is one of the best in Bulgaria. Stunning view from the room terrace to Pirin Mountain chains, so we enjoyed our morning coffee. Location is great.

Pros: What impressed me the most was how friendly, yet professional the staff is. Above and beyond! The hotel itself is pretty well maintained. The rooms aren’t spacious and the view is fantastic. The spa is also good and offers a decent variety. The food selection is also very good.

Cons: Towels were quite worn.

Pros: Food has always been very good here. Most of the staff was nice and welcoming. In general it was a pleasant stay.

Cons: Rooms are in desperate need of soundproofing. We were with a young toddler who could not fall asleep due to noise coming from rooms next to us. It is clear that other guests could be very inconsiderate and therefore the solution is better soundproof of rooms. Massage procedure was not bad but could definitely be better for this hotel.

Beautiful views, and a dreamy spa experience!

Pros: I had an amazing stay! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a breathtaking view of the mountains. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, perfect for a great night’s sleep. The spa area was absolutely fantastic—everything you’d expect from a luxury hotel. But the highlight for me was the heated outdoor pool. Relaxing in warm water while admiring the snowy peaks around me was simply magical. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Bansko. Can’t wait to come back!

Cons: The only downside was that the room was too warm, and I couldn’t adjust the temperature, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable at times.
